This is a simplified overview of my 3D interpretation of the Piltover Crest. Developed over two weeks alongside my full-time job, the concept evolved as I progressed through modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
Although inspired by Arcane, the final result leans more toward a Warcraft-style aesthetic, brought to life using Houdini, Redshift, Substance Painter, Nuke, Photoshop, and Plasticity, refining a full pipeline workflow from start to finish.

Modeled in Plasticity, textured in Substance Painter, and assembled and animated in Houdini.
Paper texture is made in Substance Painter with crest model and then additional details are added in Photoshop.
For paper simulation I used simple vellum cloth system with constrains for the objects to hold it in place.

Dust is animated with a simple noise pattern in a point VOP, then a random curved lines with a swiped geometry along is scattered on those points.
Color and emission intensity are animated across timeline which gives it a look of magic particles with motion blur and glow added in Nuke later.
